Looking for some free online marketing training? Are you looking to build your business on a shoe string budget? Are you looking to give your business an online presence but haven't got vast financial resources to dump into advertising costs? If the answer is yes to the above question then you need to read the rest of this article.
Many people think that there is no such thing as free online marketing training, that you have to pay thousands in order to reveal the secret code that allows you to push a button and develop an endless stream of prospects and money into your business. Nothing could be further from the truth. In a bit I will reveal two sources that sit right under your nose that will literally show you how to market online for free.
First though you have to understand that nothing is for nothing, for what you fail to invest financially you will pay for in time trying to research and learn the methods of internet marketing and the whole process of making money online.
I would highly advise that before you even consider trying to make money online, you try and grasp some basic principles of marketing. I was fortunate early on in my online career to receive the advice 'it's not what you market, but how you market'. To be successful marketing online is the same as offline. You must attract a highly targeted individual, offer exceptional value, create rapport, become known, liked and trusted. You must in essence learn to sell a solution that your product or your service can offer, not how great it is.
Think of it this way, nobody ever bought a drill because they actually wanted a drill, they wanted a hole, therefore if you want to sell drills you should advertise information about making holes.
Where can I get some free online marketing training?
The two favourite resources of mine in order to learn something for free are Google and YouTube. It's that simple; if you want to find the answer to something enter it into both these sites. YouTube is my particular favourite when it comes to free online marketing training as it is visual, and I am a visual person, I like to learn visually, if I see information I retain it a lot better than reading. With Google you will also take a chance of coming across sites that are tempting you into paying for information, off course that is not what you are looking for. Google loves quality content and will often drag up articles from online article directories and blogs that will provide fantastic information to help you learn.
